The "Cart" armchair, designed by Joe Colombo back in 1966, is now produced by Ditreitalia and pays tribute to an icon of Italian design.
The strong aesthetic design and the combination of different colours give this armchair a strong and dynamic character, capable of giving value to an entire setting.
The backrest and armrests develop harmoniously in a rounded shape and with continuity, giving support to the back and arms; the seat, formed by the cushion, overhangs slightly and creates a good support for the legs.
The feet consist of a pair of wheels covered in grey abs at the front, and two black lacquered wooden feet at the rear.
The upholstery of the Cart armchair by Ditreitalia is available in a wide range of fabrics, with a wide choice of different fibres and textures; the fabric version has completely removable covers and can be made in a two-tone version with matching or contrasting colours according to aesthetic requirements.
It is possible to make the upholstery in imitation leather, which allows for easy cleaning and maintenance; in this case the seat cushion has a removable cover, while the frame is fixed.
Ditreitalia, develops Cart in the armchair version (L.97cm) or two-seater sofa (L.156cm) and 3-seater sofa (L.215cm).
Mondini's interior designers use the "Cart" collection designed by Joe Colombo to give value to a project; ideal for the home and for the studio, it certainly remains a distinctive sign, an unmistakable calling card.
