The pendant lamp is a highly sought-after piece of furniture and, because of its special features, very often attracts more attention than any other object in a room. We can say that it is often the soul of the home, and this is precisely the case with the Praha pendant lamp by Lasvit.
Lasvit's Praha pendant lamp consists of a set of original pendants designed, and installed, in Hotel Praha, a major architectural project completed in the 1980s. Despite presenting the best of contemporary design, the hotel was subsequently demolished despite civic efforts to preserve it as a cultural monument. These lights, which make up Lasvit's Praha pendant lamp, are among the few remaining artefacts.
Accumulating fixtures in a variety of shapes and heights allows for different effects: from a fireball effect to more delicate shapes resembling a kaleidoscope. Clear glass is the main material used, the frame features a mirror gold titanium coating.
