French designer Jean-Marie Massaud, in collaboration with poltrona frau, has combined leather and steel to create an eclectic and transversal armchair with contemporary elegance.
The structural elements of this furnishing accessory take on a non-obtrusive aesthetic value so that the product can be distinguished and characterised. The supports are made of steel with a Ruthenium finish. The cushions, supported by a weave of exposed leather straps, are upholstered in Pelle Frau leather and embellished at the centre with an elegant elongated metal detail that echoes the finish of the legs. The padding is made of polyester wadding and polyurethane foam in various densities. On the back of the Brooklyn armchair by Poltrona Frau, the support weave of the seat and back is deliberately exposed. The leather straps are in the same colour as the cushions. Another decorative element is the micro-perforated leather band that runs around the entire perimeter of the back and seat cushions. The entire upholstery is made of Pelle Frau leather.
