Another particular selection of tables for the Cattelan Italia collection is the Ray family, with a central structure made up of cylinders in chrome-plated steel, painted or covered in leather, supporting fixed, shaped glass tops in various sizes. The cylinders of the base positioned in a random order and oblique to the plane create movement, it becomes an irregular alternation that gives lightness to the composition.
Ray is conceived to be a protagonist in the living scene with the characteristics required by the contemporary world: simplicity, modernity and design.
A chameleon-like table given the many possible combinations of finishes starting with the legs, which are made of steel and can be painted white or matt graphite, chrome, black chrome or covered in leather as per the sample book. The top is also made of 15 mm clear glass. Thanks to the special cylinder base, this round table can be extended to large sizes, from 130, 140, 160 to the very large round table with a diameter of 180 cm.
A square shape with rounded edges in the size 150x150 is also possible. While the oval is available in sizes 120x200 or 120x240 cm.
