A new and dynamic way of living: Softbench, a sofa that evolves as fast as we do. The Italian company Natevo together with designer Massimo Castagna presents a piece of furniture that is much more than a sofa: it represents a new way of communicating.
Softbench is characterised by a modular system that counts: 2 seats, 1 armrest and 3 backrests. The shapes are repeated in the different elements giving continuity to the final image. We are free to compose our sofa as we see fit. A characteristic element is the backrests, which are not anchored to the surface, but have a ballast system that is light enough to move them around and heavy enough to make them immobile during use.
