Privacy Policy

We wish to inform the Visitor of the Mondini Arredamenti website (“www.mondiniarredamenti.it”) that Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003, entitled “Personal data protection code” (hereinafter referred to as “Code”) provides for the protection of people and other subjects regarding the processing of personal data. Mondini Arredamenti S.r.l, as Data Controller (hereinafter referred to as “Owner”) uses the website as an information medium regarding its services and also as a tool for collecting personal data. According to the mentioned legislation, the processing of such data will be based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency and protection of the privacy and rights of the Visitor of the website. During the Visitor’s stay on the site, the Owner’s computer system will collect a series of technical data such as: the IP address, the type of browser, the operating system, the host and the URL of origin. 

The Owner may use this data in aggregate and anonymous form for the purpose of statistical analysis on website visits. In any case, such data will not be disclosed to third parties, nor will it be disseminated.

Concerning e-mail messages, the Owner will, in compliance with the Code, collect the personal data (including the e-mail address) spontaneously transmitted, taking care of its subsequent filing for purposes in accordance with the interactions expressed by the Visitor and for the time required to verify and evaluate the information provided, for the purpose of exchanging information or contacts. The treatments carried out only concern common data.

The presence of any data that can be classified as “sensitive” (according to art. 4 of the Code), will result in the immediate destruction of the related message, announcement or communication possibly provided by the Visitor. The data collected in the appropriate sections of the website may be communicated to other subjects for the purpose of carrying out any requests. In such cases, consent will always be requested, and will be provided online by filling in a ticked box. The Visitor is made aware of the fact that the transmission of data via the Internet cannot be considered required to perform any other service other than the correct application of the security standards imposed by the legislation in force. Pursuant to article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, therefore, we provide the Visitor with the following information:   
The data provided by the Visitor will be processed for the following purposes: management of customers’/suppliers’ personal data, administrative management, information on the services offered, legal obligations. The Visitor has the duty to verify the accuracy of the personal data concerning them and, if necessary, to rectify, update or, in any case, modify the incorrect data and/or data no longer under processing. The treatment will be carried out both manually and with the aid of telematic systems.

The data may be, indeed, stored both in paper archives and in electronic archives, so as to allow, where necessary, the identification and selection of aggregated data, for the time not exceeding the duration and purposes of the treatment. The provision of data is optional, however a refusal would make it impossible to continue any type of relationship, as data processing is essential to fulfil legal obligations.

The data may be communicated, for the purposes described above, to the following categories of subjects: - legal, commercial, data processing and consultancy firms; - state bodies, public bodies and other institutions for legal obligations or contractual commitments; - credit institutions and factoring companies; - customers, suppliers, couriers, shippers; - subsidiaries, associates and parent companies.

The Data Controller is: Mondini Arredamenti S.r.l. with legal head office in S.S. Cisa - Loc. Croce del Gallo - 46029 Suzzara (MN), Italy. No data processors have been appointed.

The Visitor who sends their personal data through the dedicated sections on the website and/or the electronic mail of the Owner, can at any time exercise the rights towards the Data Controller, pursuant to art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, which for clarity we reproduce in full. 

Legislative Decree n. 196/2003, Art. 7 – Right to Access Personal Data and Other Rights:

1. A data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them exist, regardless of their being already recorded, and communication of such data in intelligible form.

2. A data subject shall have the right to be informed:

a) of the source of the personal data;

b) of the purposes and methods of the processing;

c) of the logic applied to the processing, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means;

d) of the identification data concerning data controller, data processors and the representative designated as per Section 5(2);

e) of the entities or categories of entity to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may get to know said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State’s territory, data processor(s) or person(s) in charge of the processing.

3. A data subject shall have the right to obtain:

a) updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;

b) erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they have been collected or subsequently processed;

c) certification to the effect that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.

4. A data subject shall have the right to object, in whole or in part,

a) on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning them, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;

b) to the processing of personal data concerning them, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or else for the performance of market or commercial communication surveys.
