In 1998, Jasper Morrison created the Glo-Ball S floor lamp, which was later produced by the Italian company Flos. In the course of time, it was to be taken as a model by countless lighting designers.
Glo-Ball S by the Italian company Flos is made using an ancient artisan technique of Venetian glassmakers: mouth-blowing. The bubble, made of flashed opaline glass, is varnished with an acid-etched finish to create its recognisable bleached opaque tone that allows light to filter through in a special way, creating magical atmospheres. Glo-Ball S is suspended by a steel cable and ceiling rose. The famous lamp from the Italian company Flos is available in three different sizes ranging from 36cm to 8.5cm in diameter.
Glo-Ball S is suitable for every type of environment and situation: from the living room, the sleeping area, the dining area, a sheltered outdoor area, a restaurant entrance, a concept store, a hotel and wherever there is a desire to impress. Available in three different sizes and in an 'eco' version, it is also suitable to meet the requirements of a lighting composition.
