Like the columns of an ancient temple, the Saba Anam table stands with a presence that seems to span the ages. It evokes memories of a distant past, of architecture that has stood the test of time, and brings a solemn calm to the present. Inspired by the eternal circle and circular colonnades, it welcomes those who approach it with an invitation to share: a tabletop that becomes a place of gathering, dialogue and domestic sanctity.Â
The top, either round or rectangular with rounded edges, is available in lacquered MDF or extra-clear glass with a lacquered reverse side, both in three different colours. The tubular steel legs support it with a vertical, harmonious gesture, encircling a second top that appears to float.
In the dining area, the Saba Anam table takes centre stage: an object that not only furnishes the space but transforms it into a place of reflection and conviviality. Its energy is calm yet powerful, capable of giving rhythm to the space and suggesting a different way of being together. It is a synergy between history and the contemporary, a design born of a process of subtraction that gets to the very essence: pure, archetypal, timeless forms.
