The name Lasvit is the result of the combination of the Czech words for “love” (Láska) and “light” (Svit). The company was founded in 2007 in the Czech Republic with the aim of bringing the ancient Bohemian glass and crystal culture throughout the globe by specializing in the production of lighting installations and glassware. The company works to make improvements in Czech traditional craftsmanship while performing in full compliance with it. Traditional Bohemian craftsmanship is thus able to be born again in a small workshop that has been enchanting the world of luxury with its unique installations. The crystal sculptures created by Lasvit definitely represent the most striking projects designed by the company, as these installations are able to trap and amplify natural light, offering the audience a magical experience.
