Roda

The Italian company Roda was founded in 1990 in Gavriate, in the province of Varese, Italy, with the aim of bringing interior design elegance into the outdoor sector. Thanks to Roberto Pompa, the founder and president of the company, Roda has established itself on the Italian and international scene for exporting teak furniture with an exquisite Italian flavor addressed to a conscious and classy audience. In 2004, thanks to the founder’s intuitions, Roda was acknowledged as the first company manufacturing outdoor furniture with the same care of indoor furniture, creating a spatial and conceptual continuum between inside and outside, between man and nature. This very intuition was referred to as “interior garden,” meaning that we could now find the same warmth and comfort we usually find inside our walls also outside them. Roda’s products have a typical Mediterranean flavor, they are natural, welcoming, able to create both cozy and sophisticated locations. The company’s creative team, made up of excellent designers, is led by renowned architect Rodolfo Dordoni, who perfectly embodies Roda’s new concept of indoor-outdoor furniture. Every choice and every project is a testimony of the company’s attention to detail and continuous research meant to emphasize the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, which is something that has been at the core of Roda since its foundation.
