To create the Canasta sofa by B&B Italia Outdoor our craftsmen were inspired by a wicker basket admired in the Far East.
"Canasta' actually means basket. And it was from this element that designer Patricia Urquiola found the inspiration to create the weave of the structure's yarn. The weaving is carried out in such a way that a modular pattern is created, consisting of octagonal holes typical of Vienna straw.
The result is the geometric macro pattern of Canasta, for a garden sofa with an enveloping shape and increased user comfort.
