Carl Hansen & Son's BM0057 Cabinet is re-edited following the original design, dated 1957, by Børge Mogensen. The designer had already perceived the evolution of modern living standards and created a beautiful but above all functional sideboard.
Made entirely of white or transparent oiled oak, the sideboard avoids excessive decoration, except for the brass brackets, in the name of a clean, purely storage design. The sideboard is composed of double-hinged doors that open to reveal two adjustable shelves, drawers with mortise joints and side panels that taper to the top for a subtle finish. The slender legs, integrated into the frame, lift the sideboard off the ground, giving it a light and proportionate appearance.
