Cassina's 20 Casiers Standard, Pieds Corolle sideboard stems from the revolutionary housing project Pavillon de l'Esprit Nouveau, created in 1925 by Le Corbusier with Pierre Jeanneret. In this context, the master designer went beyond the traditional concept of furniture, introducing a modular and composable storage unit that complemented the selected furniture, giving rise to a new functional vision of domestic space.
Relaunched in 2016 with a contemporary aesthetic, the sideboard is enriched with details that enhance its intrinsic quality, while maintaining its versatility and efficiency. Offered in 18 fixed compositions, it is available in configurations of two or three modules, with open compartments, hinged doors, drop-down doors and shelves adjustable in five positions. The modular architecture is enhanced by the interior finish of the open compartments, which combines three shades of oak for a warm and elegant visual effect.
Two painted corolla bases lift the structure, giving it lightness and harmonious proportions. Perfect for the living room, dining room or study, the Cassina 20 Casiers Standard, Pieds Corolle sideboard offers tidy storage space for books, decorative objects and accessories, maintaining a formal rigour that enriches any environment with discreet refinement.Â
A historic piece of furniture, reinterpreted with contemporary sensibility, which continues to embody functional and timeless charm.
