Designed by Patricia Urquiola, Cassina's Bio-mbo bed reinterprets the concept of intimacy with elegance and modernity, transforming itself into a cosy and versatile refuge that adapts harmoniously to any environment. Conceived as a small domestic paradise, it stands out for its large padded headboard, equipped with two side wings that create a comfortable, protected space in which to retreat.
The poplar plywood frame supports a slim bed frame and a generous headboard, also available with wall mounting and an independent sommier on wheels. The horizontally quilted padding and movable side flaps, enriched with practical pockets with leather handles, help to define a cosy and private environment that is visually soft and functional.
Thanks to Cassina LAB research, Bio-mbo integrates wellness solutions: zero-emission air purification and sound absorption promote deep, restorative sleep. The patented theBreath® fabric captures and neutralises pollutants, promoting the natural circulation of clean air. The Soundfil® panelling, made from recycled, hygienic and non-toxic material, reduces the reverberation of nearby sound frequencies, creating a muffled and relaxing atmosphere.
