The new Eileen armchair, designed by DRAW Studio for Ceccotti Collezioni, draws inspiration from the work of Irish designer and architect Eileen Gray. The sinuous profile, reminiscent of a crossbow, holds the deep and welcoming seat suspended.
The frame, made of solid American walnut or ash, available in various finishes, is supported by oblique tie rods with an elliptical section that make the wood work in bending. Curves that meet and give the illusion of a suspended seat, made comfortable by the padding and springing with elastic straps. Eileen can be customised through the upholstery, available in multiple colours and textures of fabric, leather and Pelle Frau® leather. The Ceccotti Collezioni Eileen armchair becomes unmistakable from the wide iconic swirl that rises from the back foot towards the armrest, outlining a fluid upward motion.
