The Cerchi side table was designed by Nicolò Morales for Paola Lenti. Morales takes inspiration from the colors of his motherland, namely the city of Caltagirone in Sicily, to create this design: he directly collects the minerals from the countryside and then extracts their pigments which he uses to decorate earthenware. This denotes a special attention to color that is truly appreciated by the company, which makes of color its distinctive feature for the furnishings in the catalog.
What makes the Cerchi side table truly unique is its base, which consists of cylindrical elements in majolica made and decorated by hand with the exclusive colors by Nicolò Morales. Because of the singular production technique, each element is like no other and has its own hue and pattern. Each cylinder is thus unique in terms of percentage of material and color in the decorations.
The Cerchi side table features an extra-light transparent tempered glass top and a base consisting of cylindrical majolica elements of different sizes.
