Characterised by high quality materials and a design typical of the sofas and armchairs found in the English clubs and country houses of the early 1900s, the Chester armchair by Poltrona Frau goes back to the classic model of Edwardian England, taken up by Renzo Frau in the design of this magnificent piece of furniture. A durable product that will last and add refinement as well as elegance to your interior.
The pleats on the armrests are a fitting conclusion to the rich capitonné workmanship of the upholstery, which is executed entirely by hand. The Chester sofa by Poltrona Frau has a spring system obtained with biconic steel springs, positioned by hand and fixed to jute straps on a seasoned beechwood supporting structure. The seat is upholstered in rubberised horsehair, while the backrest and armrests are in hand-moulded vegetable horsehair. The seat cushions are made of goose down. The feet can be spherical or tall, in dark walnut-stained beech or black lacquered beech. They are also available in leather-covered wood.
Wherever you decide to place it, the Chester sofa by Poltrona Frau will be able to become the silent protagonist of the classic culture of living, embellishing your living spaces with excellent taste.
