Poltrona Frau's Clayton sofa has seat cushions embellished with delicate "x" stitching made by hand with contrasting thread. The seat is supported and sprung by a structure made of hand-woven leather straps. The architecture of the sofa is clear and light. The seat is raised off the ground by steel blade feet with Ruthenium finish. The back and armrest panels are made of steel with light polyurethane foam padding and are joined together with visible metal hinges. The armrest and backrest cushions are filled with goose down. Upholstery is available in both Frau leather and a wide range of fabrics.
