The Ditre Italia Drop sofa is inspired by the idea of dropping a dress or jacket on the seat and making it become padding. The fabric is therefore crumpled and rests haphazardly on a rigorous structure that ensures containment.
Fir wood load-bearing solids make up the internal structure of the sofa, together with faesite panel springing for the backrest and seat made of criss-crossed, mechanically pre-tensioned elastic bands of propylene fibre and latex. The generous upholstered volumes, also in memory foam, are contained in a linear structure that is in turn supported by slender feet that give it a visual lightness. The back and armrest cushions fall softly, almost untidily, overflowing from the structure and providing comfort and a cosy look. The removable cover is available in different fabric colours, which can be chosen according to aesthetic and furnishing requirements.
