The Ditre Italia Kim High sofa is the natural upgrade of the Kim project, also designed by Stefano Spessotto. In this case the model features high and comfortable cushions to provide greater support and comfort.
The structure made of fir wood load-bearing solids houses the faesite panel springing for the backrest, while for the seat it is made of elastic strips of propylene fibre and latex crossed and mechanically pre-tensioned. Comfort is enhanced by the backrests, which have an internal metal friction mechanism that allows the function of raising/lowering the backrest to the desired position. The special feature of the Kim High lies in the high, comfortable, feather-filled back cushions with a progressive lowering mechanism. An elegant detail is provided by the bridge feet in beech wood, available in a "cover" or "gipsy" version where they are partially covered with non-removable covers.
