The name is not chosen at random, Monolith by Ditre Italia looks like a single block of rock, an architectural structure carved from a single piece of marble, a Monolith in fact. It has imposing and massive volumes, which are replicated by the large armrest and the backrest, which seems to protrude from the seat cushions like a real piece of carved stone.
The seat rests on a series of low plastic feet that are invisible and create a truly elegant and functional floor-standing composition. An eccentric feature lies in the edges of the seat, back and armrest, which conceal the stitching by inserting visible vertical zips.
A "Family Feeling" inspiration where the concept of upholstery is not only linked to a product, but to a real family, where every accessory is perfectly integrated to create uniform and functional compositions: the seats, as well as being completely modular (linear versions, with chaise longue, corner or dormeouse) are available in various depths, meeting the needs of those who require more personalised solutions. The proposal is then completed by a series of service or centre tables, with wooden or glass tops.
The structure of the Monolith sofa by Ditre Italia is made entirely of solid wood. The seat padding is made of non-deformable polyurethane foam covered in tecnoform, while the back padding has a polyurethane core covered in goose down. Monolith is presented in the fabric version, with completely removable covers, or in leather for a more elegant composition.
The dimensions of the Monolith sofa are: seat height from floor 39cm, seat depth 62cm, armrest width: 32cm.
