Modern living rooms have a completely different concept than in the past when it comes to furniture and decorative elements. A stool is to be considered to all intents and purposes a seat, next to an island, a table, it combines two unions of intent: to have seats that take up as little space as possible and a stylistically perfect piece of furniture.
Designer Mario Cucinella created the Etrurio stool for Riva 1920, a furnishing accessory that can also be used as a small table thanks to its large surface area. Entirely constructed from solid scented cedar wood worked from a single block, inspired by the characteristic shapes of the most famous Etruscan vases.
The Etrurio stool by Riva 1920 is a completely natural product and finished by hand without the addition of any treatment. Any movements, cracks and changes in the condition of the wood are an essential characteristic and are due to natural settling and different environmental conditions.
