From the name you can expect nothing less than an explosion of matter and force. With its rounded, solid shape, it is sculpted and suspended in its rarity.
A series of discs placed parallel to each other add up to form a lamp with an original look; Foscarini presents Supernova with a futuristic, modern and totally new style. Inside its shell, the light is directed according to a specific conformation of the discs that compose it, to prevent excessive glare. Every single part has been designed to make Supernova a super-lamp: oriented on one side it is a true hypnotic sphere, while on the other it is a set of parallel lines that filter the explosive energy of the light. Specially designed aluminium discs give the whole assembly a special effect, enclosing the sphere of light that expands outwards and providing diffuse illumination in every corner.
