With the aim of designing a seat that takes up as little space as possible when not in use, the Danish design duo Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm, together with Carl Hansen & Son, created the FK10/FK11 Plico Lounge Chair without compromising comfort.
The lounge chair does not try to hide the joints, rather it emphasises them with beautiful brass fittings and careful craftsmanship. The solid oak frame and sloping, shaped back legs provide stability, while the adjustable backrest lends support despite its folding nature. For added comfort, the backrest and seat are fitted with cushions upholstered in linen, providing a modern, clean and elegant style. Enhancing the overall design are two leather armrests with buckles, resembling two adjustable belts.
The Carl Hansen & Son FK10/FK11 Plico Chair lounge chair fits into modern living rooms, bright verandas and relaxation areas, offering support during moments of rest or reading a book or in convivial situations. Available in two versions with different backrest heights, the lounge chair meets every aesthetic and style requirement and for comfort the FK10 model always comes with a matching headrest cushion.
