Mon-Cloud by Cassina is a generous and welcoming armchair, designed as a haven of comfort and conviviality. Designed by Patricia Urquiola, this versatile and elegant model reinterprets upholstered furniture design in a circular and sustainable way. As its name suggests, the Mon-Cloud Cassina armchair invites you to sink into its soft padding, offering the sensation of floating on a cloud.
The wooden structure, composed of two boards, gives the armchair a sense of lightness and refinement. The profile is wide and inviting, with armrests and backrests that open outwards, while the fabric upholstery envelops the volumes, creating a distinctive fold that enhances the lines of the design.
Mon-Cloud is also an environmentally conscious project: its metal frame is covered with quilted padding made from recycled PET fibre, which envelops the backrest and armrests like a soft duvet. The seat cushions, also made from recycled PET, contain a small percentage of Circularrefoam® foam — an innovative polyurethane made from recycled polyols. Each component is designed to be easily separable, facilitating recycling and material recovery.
The Cassina Mon-Cloud armchair is surrounded by new elements: a pouf, a bench, a sofa, a larger seating module and open-corner components. The result is a dynamic and youthful living system, perfectly in tune with a contemporary lifestyle.
