Designed by Carlo Scarpa in 1974, Cassina's Sarpi Office table was created as an evolution of the famous Doge table, part of the residential collection. While maintaining the same material qualities and formal rigour as its predecessor, Sarpi Office introduces an innovative solution: an inverted, compact base designed to adapt elegantly to contract environments and more compact professional spaces.
The satin-finish drawn metal structure, with visible burnished screws, stands out for its conceptual reversal: the slender frame, usually intended to support the top, rests directly on the ground, while the T-shaped feet support the top, creating a visual effect of lightness and suspension. The top, available in Canaletto walnut, black-stained ash or white back-lacquered glass, interacts with the metal base in a refined contrast of materials.
Designed to meet the needs of office spaces, the Cassina Sarpi Office table is ready for electrification, thanks to a cable access door integrated in the centre of the top and various technical configurations available. This solution makes the table ideal for meeting rooms and work environments, where beauty, functionality and comfort come together in a piece of furniture with a strong visual impact and remarkable versatility.
