The PIP-e chair by the Italian company Driade is a four-handed design by Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitlet. Renowned designers explore the world of plastics with the aim of creating new furniture elements that are both functional and aesthetically appealing for indoor projects.
Pip-e is characterised by a four-leg tubular base and a shell created by inserting plastic bars into the seat skeleton. The banded pattern starts on the backrest and follows all the curves of the bodywork to end just below the seat. A simple but aesthetically pleasing motif that takes our minds back to the famous garden chairs of the 1970s.
