Like a staircase leading towards infinity, the Saba Anam bookcase rises with a gentle balance, suspended between lightness and solidity. Anam does not impose, but accompanies; it does not dominate, but suggests.
The structure consists of painted tubular steel frames that rise like slender lines, whilst the cross-members support shelves with rounded corners. There are two interpretations: the fully lacquered version, rigid and assertive, which evokes the stability of what endures; and the upholstered version, with a fabric lower section, which introduces an unexpected gentleness, a touch of softness that makes the bookcase almost tactile.
The distinctive feature of the Saba Anam bookcase lies in its rhythm: the vertical uprights are positioned in front of the shelves, arranged freely and alternately, playing with different levels and lengths. It is a subtle movement, a silent dance that creates an ever-changing visual landscape. Available as a modular wall-mounted unit or a freestanding version with storage units, Anam does not seek to dominate the space, but to enrich it: it suggests a dialogue between what we see and what we imagine, between order and intuition, between presence and possibility.
