In their daring interpretation of design conventions, the designers reversed the traditional positioning of the heavier components. The main wooden body is placed at the top of the sideboard and is supported by three legs with beveled edges. This configuration creates an open space beneath the main body, giving an illusion of lightness despite the furniture's sturdy appearance.
The distinctive feature of the Cattelan Italia Cremona wooden sideboard is its opening mechanism. The sliding door moves vertically, allowing you to open or close one part of the cabinet at a time. It is also possible to leave the door down to reverse the open section with the closed section, making the sideboard ideal as an elegant designer bar cabinet.
The legs flank the chest all the way to the top, creating an enveloping and decorative effect.
