Esosoft by Cassina is the first modular sofa designed by Antonio Citterio for the company: a project that embodies the timeless elegance and style of the renowned Italian designer, paying homage to the art of the great masters and the tradition of separating the supporting structure from the internal padding.
The base of the sofa, made of polished aluminium or painted in matt anthracite, acts as an exoskeleton: a slim, sophisticated structure that accommodates and enhances the cushions, highlighting the refined geometry of the armrests and backrest. The armrests are available in two versions: slender at the same height as the backrest or curved with a sinuous line that rests on the base. The backrest also plays with different heights, creating a dynamic and engaging visual rhythm.
The Esosoft collection has been expanded with eight new modules, including four end pieces, designed to be freely combined to create customised compositions. The new elements offer deeper seats (+15 cm) and are available in a variety of shapes and widths.
The sofa frame reflects a sustainable approach: it consists of a metal structure with elastic strapping, Bio polyurethane foam padding and recycled PET wadding inner lining.
With its elegant design and vintage charm, the Cassina Esosoft sofa stands out as the centrepiece of the living space. Customisable in every detail, it represents a perfect balance between craftsmanship and aesthetic research, transforming itself into an authentic design object.
