The Limes sofa by Saba is a modular seating system designed by Sergio Bicego for the renowned furniture brand Saba Italia. First launched in 2002, it was revamped in 2025 with a restyling that updated its aesthetics in a more contemporary key.
Characterised by an asymmetrical profile and an innovative, informal design, Limes was ahead of its time, offering a concept of flexibility and functionality designed to adapt to everyday needs. Its removable backrest panels, which can be positioned on all four sides, introduced a new freedom of composition, allowing the space to be reconfigured as needed.
The new model features a metal rod raised off the ground, which takes on a more graphic role and defines the profile of the back panels. The back cushions are available in two heights: a taller, more generous version for greater shoulder comfort, and a lower version designed for a more understated look and better suited to conversation.
The sofa frame is made of wood, padded with polyurethane foam and covered with velour fabric coupled with polyester fibre. The backrest and armrest cushions are made of painted metal, with the option of fabric upholstery. The seat cushions are made of polyurethane foam with different densities, completed with a 100% polyester fibre mattress and covered with 100% cotton fabric.
The Saba Limes sofa is on display and available for immediate delivery at our showroom in Suzzara, in the province of Mantua.
Seat and cushion upholstery in Luce 01 fabric, armrest and backrests upholstered in Sweet Velvet 91. Metal structure in Corten colour.
