Sculpture and functionality come together to rediscover the rich heritage of Mexican craftsmanship through innovative means and languages. Hence the Tacchini Altar side table, with the collaboration of EWE Studio, in a project in which tradition is reflected in design to forge ideas that have substance and meaning.
The Tacchini Altar side table has an irregular shape, as if hollowed out of the material used, the product of high craftsmanship and strong identity. Made from the recovery of natural materials, Altar is available in different finishes: ceramic, cement and cedar wood, coloured or natural.
The sensory contrasts created by the sculptural side table enrich the living area, whether placed in the centre of the room or beside the sofa or armchair. Altar complements various Tacchini furnishings as a functional sculpture with a traditionally refined aesthetic.
Inspired by pre-Hispanic altars, the Tacchini Altar side table reflects the design philosophy of the South American studio with respect for tradition, living materials and the complete sensory experience that passes through sight but above all touch.
