The Tacchini Kanji coffee table draws its inspiration from the ink marks traced on a sheet of paper to form a Chinese character, where heavy elements combine with lighter ones. The contrasting thicknesses result in two coffee tables with contrasting top and base, both textural and structural.
The coffee tables have a round thin marble top, finished in matt Breccia Bresciana or Fior di Pesco Carsico, to be matched to the room depending on the tone we want to use, whether warm and delicate or firm and rigorous. The solid rounded legs in ash wood, available in two finishes, support the elegant top lightly, creating the illusion of delicate support. The contrast of materials creates a refined and sophisticated coffee table. The taller version with a smaller diameter has a second table top sandwiched between the legs.
The simple lines, inspired by calligraphy, of the Tacchini Kanji coffee table make it versatile and suitable for any environment, from private living rooms to contract settings. Visually light yet structurally robust, Kanji offers a sophisticated and sculptural coffee table that can decorate the room.
Designed by Monica Förster, the Tacchini Kanji coffee table transforms the art of writing in an elegant and regular form into a sophisticated and functional table top.
