The Lina armchair by Tacchini is a reissue of the iconic Italian design created by Giancarlo Frattini. Nominated for the Compasso d'Oro award in 1955, Lina retains the same innovative features of the time, reinterpreting them in a modern key.
The exposed ash plywood structure gives the armchair a handcrafted look that is solid yet visually light. The slender legs join the curved element that supports the side of the backrest and also acts as a support for the armrests. At the time, this was a highly original design feature, and it is still crafted with particular attention today. The polyurethane foam padding with differentiated density provides an ergonomic and comfortable seat.
