The Diantha floor lamp from the Italian company Gallotti&Radice was designed by designer Massimo Castagna, taking up the design of the pendant lamp. Diantha, whose name means 'divine/celestial flower', was created with the idea of bringing the lightness and delicacy of flowers to your favourite surroundings.
The Gallotti&Radice Diantha floor lamp develops from a floor lamp from which the four flower stems are then born. The stems branch out into space, creating natural patterns and interlacements. At the end of the lamp's structure, made of bronzed black metal, we find the focal part: the graceful diffusers made of mouth-blown crystal glass and subsequently painted bronze. The diffusers of the eponymous lamp take the place of the actual body of the flower, imitating its delicacy, transparency and fragility.
The Gallotti&Radice Diantha is an extremely valuable product, qualitatively high and technically perfect; realised by means of techniques typical of Italian manufacturing, it honours it by upholding the tradition of craftsmanship. Having Diantha in your own space means having the honour of owning a jewel ready to illuminate your rooms and your guests with a light and pleasant light through the most precious crystal. Diantha is not only a lamp, but also a sculpture, a furnishing element: marvellous when in operation, enigmatic, magnetic and poetic when at rest.
