The Yuki bed is the result of a collaboration between designer Massimo Castagna and the Italian company Gallotti&Radice. It is a piece of furniture with important dimensions to be ideally placed in the centre of the room as the absolute protagonist. Yuki's special feature is its large, self-supporting headboard with adjustable side panels that give a feeling of intimacy and royalty.
The cosy and inviting look is provided by the non-deformable polyurethane foam padding in differentiated densities and polyester fibre that characterises the bed frame, but above all by the headboard composed of rectangular panels that give a quilted profile. The headboard is the bed's strong point: the two adjustable side panels can be positioned open, closed or semi-open, depending on aesthetic and space requirements, and on request can include two USB sockets, one on each side. Yuki is embellished with satin brass or matt black lacquered details, including the headboard profiles and its hinges.
