In 2009, Jasper Morrison created the Glo-Ball C/W ceiling or wall lamp, which was then produced by the Italian company Flos. Over time, it would become a source of inspiration for countless lighting designers.
Glo-Ball C/W by the Italian company Flos is made using an ancient artisan technique typical of Venetian glassmakers: mouth-blowing. By blowing into a long tube at the end of which is the glassy material still at very high temperatures, a swelling is created in it which then becomes a glass bubble like Glo-Ball C/W . Our bubble, made of flashed opaline glass, is then varnished with an acid-etched finish to create its recognisable whitened opaque tone which allows light to filter through, creating magical atmospheres. Available in the Mini Glo-Ball C/W version with a diameter of 11cm or in the Glo-Ball C/W19cm version.
Glo-Ball C/W is suitable for every type of environment and situation: from the living room, to the sleeping area, to the dining area, to a sheltered outdoor area, a restaurant entrance, a concept store, a hotel and wherever there is a desire to impress. Available in five different sizes, it is also suitable for light compositions.
