The Broschyr carpet by Kasthall becomes a light and refined decorative element within the home, a textile feature capable of defining the space with balance and restraint. Each piece is individually crafted in Sweden, a true testament to the company’s artisanal expertise and the care that goes into every stage of production.
Designed by Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg, Broschyr began as an exploration of the infinite possibilities offered by colour and patterns. First presented in the 1990s on the cover of a Kasthall catalogue as a single piece, it was subsequently reinterpreted in numerous bespoke colour combinations, each revealing new relationships within the same basic structure. Over time, Broschyr has become an emblematic example of Kasthall’s distinctive approach to colour, patterns and variations.
The design is available in neutral shades, designed to blend seamlessly with different styles and requirements. Each size finds its ideal setting — from the living room to the hallway, and on to the dining or bedroom areas — enhancing the character of the space with a subtle yet striking presence. The Kasthall Broschyr carpet celebrates the use of natural fibres, recycled materials and long life cycles, promoting a more responsible approach to textile design and transforming the rug into a decorative statement that combines aesthetics, sustainability and durability.
