Kettal’s Il Colonnato table draws inspiration from one of the fundamental elements of classical architecture: the colonnade, in which a series of columns supports a portico, here reinterpreted as a sculptural base supporting the tabletop.
The table is made entirely of teak or Minera Stone, a concrete with through-coloured silica aggregate that is waterproof and particularly durable. The thin tabletop is available in square, round or rectangular shapes and rests on a distinctive base composed of voluminous legs. Although the base appears visually compact, the structure is actually open: viewed from different angles, the perception of space changes, creating an interesting interplay of solids and voids.
Available in various sizes, the Kettal Il Colonnato table is designed to comfortably seat between 8 and 12 people, whilst ensuring ample freedom of movement around the table. Ideal for large outdoor spaces, such as courtyards and patios in private residences, it also finds a natural home in hospitality settings, such as hotels and high-end lounge areas, where it becomes an architectural feature of striking presence and refinement.
