Aesthetic beauty and functionality are the main characteristics that a person looks for when choosing furniture for their home or office that highlights its value. Thus was born Vico Magistretti's Kuta Table wall lamp, designed in 1978 and originally produced by Nemo.
The Kuta wall lamp is an enduring icon of Italian modernism that is as beautiful today as it certainly was at the time of its introduction. It consists of a circular aluminium reflector that screens the light emission, creating the effect of a solar eclipse. The circular screen is painted black and white, the stem and metal fittings are chrome-plated, as is the hemispherical wall bracket.
A table version has now also been produced to create more sophistication in the room in which it is placed.
