Foscarini chooses polycarbonate for a specific performance of the lamp: a material that prevents the light from shining through the special slits. Le soleil is full of upwardly projected heterogeneous beams of light that expand directed by the conformity of the diffuser, while at the same time there is direct downward illumination.
