Flexform's Lee armchair was created in 2021 by Italian designer and architect Antonio Citterio. The design aims to evoke the essence of past times and to revive almost-forgotten childhood memories in the present.
The backrest and the seat are entirely hand-woven in paper rush cord, while the structure is made of solid wood, available in Canaletto walnut or ash. These materials were chosen to ensure sturdiness and durability over time and to pay homage to the classic style of Italian tradition.
The comfort and softness provided by the Lee armchair by Flexform can be enhanced by adding, for an extra charge, soft cushions in polyester fiber with removable upholstery in fabric or leather. The feet are in die-cast zama with chrome, black chrome, satin, burnished, or gunmetal finish.
