In the sign of the continuity of a now consolidated research on the theme of chairs with an aluminium alloy structure, Zanotta presents the Lia chair, which immediately proves to be innovative for the advanced use of the die-casting technique: the side of the chair is made of a single aluminium alloy element that simultaneously incorporates the front leg, the rear leg and the backrest.
Practical and essential but with an unmistakable style, the Lia chair by Zanotta was designed by Italian designer Roberto Barbieri and is upholstered in leather, but you can also find a version with fabric or leather upholstery. The Lia chair frame is made of polished aluminium alloy. The seat is very comfortable, as the seat, armrests and backrest are padded with polyurethane.
The ability of Zanotta's Lia chair is that of having skilfully combined an important technological innovation with a neutral and minimal formal connotation that can be easily adapted to any environment and furnishing style.
