The Ariette ceiling or wall lamp from the Italian company Flos was designed by Tobia Scarpa in 1973 and was born out of his passion for experimenting with new materials in lighting.
The Ariette wall and ceiling lamp features a square diffuser made of synthetic fabric that shows all its features when illuminated. You can observe the natural veins and marks of the fabric, which give the lamp a lived-in and highly distinctive look. The presence of textile material within this design gives the lamp a very striking sculptural appearance.
