The Serena lamp is the result of designer Erasmo Figini's affectionate relationship with the city of Venice and draws inspiration from some of the elements that characterise this extraordinary city: wood, water and the reflections of gold fixed in glass.
The structure of the Serena lamp by Riva 1920 is formed by a briccola cut in two that supports the lamp, vertically. The cut, strong, decisive, is shown with the slippage of the two halves. Of the two inner faces, one is treated with gold leaf, the other is flame-burned to an uneven black finish. The wrought iron base provides optimum support for the structure and ensures that it is strong without neglecting aesthetic beauty.
