The Tatou collection is the brainchild of designer Patricia Urquiola, who was inspired by drawings of classic Japanese armour on the lampshade, the symbol of these Flos lamps. The family includes table, floor and pendant models. The French word "tatou" means "armadillo" an animal with a protective armour similar to those on our lamps.
The Tatou F floor lamp is characterised by a circular base and a painted steel stem, on top of which rests a plastic lampshade decorated with a special perforated design. The special processing gives lightness to the lampshade while still allowing it to shield the light and prevent glare. The Tatou F lamp from the Italian company Flos is available in white, black or ochre grey.
The Tatou F represents a different way of lighting our rooms. The classic floor lamp is revisited in a new, trendy, sophisticated, essential version.
