The Gubi Stemlite wall lamp stands out for its delicate, organic forms and soft, subdued light; a hidden gem from the space race era and now a natural addition to the Gubi collection. This lamp stems from the revolutionary intuition of American designer Bill Curry, who in the 1960s introduced the first ‘total look’ lamp: a single, self-contained unit in which the base and shade merge into a fluid, modular and surprisingly contemporary form.
Inspired by the stems that support flowers in nature, the Stemlite seems to grow organically from the wall. The die-cast aluminium base supports the tulip-shaped stem that extends outwards and then upwards to support a hand-blown satin-finished glass globe, softly luminous. The rounded shade, reminiscent of a delicate pebble smoothed by water or a bud about to bloom, casts a soft, gentle light that enhances the space, from the living room to hallways and the entrance area.
Timeless and minimalist, the Gubi Stemlite wall lamp brings a discreet and luminous elegance to interiors. Perfect on the walls of the living room or elegant hallways, it creates an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere, adapting naturally to classic, modern and contemporary styles thanks to its visual lightness and timeless presence.
