The Lumiere table lamp by the Italian company Foscarini was created in collaboration with Rodolfo Dordoni in the 1990s and immediately became one of the company's best sellers. It has recently been renewed with the change of just a few details, demonstrating the surprising topicality of one of Foscarini's strong points, because objects that are not subject to time and fashions really do exist. In 2009 Rodolfo Dordoni revisited Lumiere, creating Lumiere xxs and xxl with more decisive lines that reflect the current situation.
The Lumiere lamp is characterised by a direct, soft light and a mouth-blown glass diffuser. The base is a die-cast aluminium tripod finished and polished by hand in the aluminium version and liquid-painted in the black chrome or champagne version; scratch-resistant silicone feet. On/off switch and dimmer to experience lighting to its full potential.
The Lumiere table lamp is proof that the beauty of an object has the ability to endure over time without being subjected to the changes of fashion, this object is therefore for the buyer who is looking for a timeless piece of furniture capable of conquering with avant-garde forms that never tire.
