Playful, poetic and minimalist, Gubi’s Unbound table lamp — reimagined by Space Copenhagen — exudes a light elegance and an instantly recognisable personality. Its sculptural presence, striking yet understated, makes it a unique piece for the living room or for those corners of the home dedicated to well-being and tranquillity.
The design centres on a solid, textured marble base, which serves as a visual and tactile anchor. Rising from it is a dark antique brass stem, whilst the white linen or natural canvas shade rotates gracefully on its axis, like a sail guided by a gentle breeze. Inside, a series of dimmable LEDs diffuses a soft, even and enveloping light, capable of creating intimate and relaxed atmospheres.
Used as a single piece, the Gubi Unbound table lamp becomes a striking piece of furniture; paired with the floor lamp versions, it creates sculptural compositions that interact with the space in a dynamic way. By adjusting the angle of the ‘sails’, the lamp takes on different postures, creating a floating, contemplative presence even when switched off.
