The Planet lamapda designed by Tokujin Yoshioka for Kartell in 2016, looks like a 33 cm diameter sphere with a slightly flattened shape. It is made of transparent or mass-coloured thermoplastic technopolymer and has a polished or painted die-cast aluminium structure; the colours available are crystal, smoked and yellow.
The faceting of the surface, which is reminiscent of a diamond, is particularly distinctive and gives the lamp a very special elegance and brilliance.
The Planet lamp by Kartell is equipped with non-replaceable LED lamps with a maximum power of 22W and is available in the pendant or table version (with or without support).
